Leslie Grayson

Leslie Grayson joined Dover in 2018 as a direct mail and digital copywriter for Democrats at the local, state, and national level.

Leslie got her start in politics as a digital fellow on the Daniel Biss campaign for governor of Illinois in 2017. She went on to write for progressive candidates across the country as a volunteer writer for Run for Something. She also managed a winning local school board campaign in Evanston, IL and served as the digital director for a campaign for Illinois Supreme Court.

In her previous life, Leslie spent over a decade as an opera stage director and stage manager at major opera companies throughout the United States, including the Lyric Opera of Chicago, Santa Fe Opera, and Metropolitan Opera in New York City.

These days, she feels very much at home playing a role in the ever-unfolding drama of political campaigns.
